Brian K. Ayers, Vice President, Business Development & Geology, joined Vencer in December 2022. During Mr. Ayers’ extensive career he has held executive, managerial, business development and technical roles for public and private exploration and production companies.
Prior to joining Vencer, Ayers served as Senior Vice President, Geology and A&D for Rosehill Resources, Inc., where he led the geoscience and business development functions. Previously, he held executive and senior management positions at Tema Oil and Gas Company, America Capital Energy & Infrastructure, Samson Resources Corp., and Coastal Oil and Gas Corp. He also held the position of President & CEO of Centurion Exploration Company. Mr. Ayers began his career at Texaco, USA as an exploration geophysicist.
Ayers obtained a B.A. in Geophysical Science from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Millsaps College. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, and the West Texas Geological Society.
